TM series Column & Boom heavy-duty welding manipulator is a widely used automatic welding assistant. By vertical and horizontal travel of the boom, rotation of the column as well as travel of the base cart, the manipulator can work with automatic welding machine, roller bed or welding positioner to form a welding automation center, and weld longitude and circumferential seam in boiler, pressure vessel, petrochemical, shipyard, car and steel fabrication industries.

Horizontal travel of boom is driven by skew worm gear reducer and gear/ rack couple. AC variable frequency motor enables stepless speed adjustment in larger range.

Motor driven cross slide mounted in the end of the manipulator enables fine adjustment of the welding head.

Column is designed with internal protective cavity to protect the counter-balance weight from sticking. And there is additional safety detent device to double protect the boom from falling in case of broken chain ..

The TM series manipulator is designed to work with SAW welding system from Lincoln, Miller, ESAB, and there are many options like automatic seam tracking system (AST), welding process monitor system, flux recovery system and head swing system,you can customize the system to meet your special requirements.
